Claptone is one of the biggest names in electronic music, yet the reclusive artist retains a certain allure. Last year saw more than 100,000 fans flock to the Masquerade, the glitzy night they run at Ibiza venue Pacha; in reality, Claptone could be stood beside you in the hotel elevator… you’d never know.
With a new summer season upon us, Claptone has just relaunched the Masquerade, with sets expected from the likes of Fatboy Slim and Purple Disco Machine.
Still fresh from the success of his third album, the producer recently co-constructed red hot disco burner ‘Digging Deeper’ with Alison Goldfrapp. Having remixed the likes of Dua Lipa, Elton John, Rag’n’Bone Man, Ava Max and Mark Ronson, Claptone’s CV is absolutely glittering.
Toasting the launch of this new season, Claptone went in the mix for Clash – just over an hour’s worth of Masquerade floor-fillers.
