EMMI IIDA has shared her brand new single ‘Blooming’, released via EFG Records Oy.
Hailing from Finland, the multidisciplinary riser is tapping into a spiritual realm with her latest offering. The track takes its listener on a journey, weaving between ambient soundscapes and a more momentous, pulsing production pieced together by Sebastian Luke-Virgo. Emmi Granlund’s vocals seamlessly glide across, complimenting the song’s ethereal quality from start EMM to finish.
First discovering the piano aged 5, Emmi grew up amongst a musical household – shaping her expansive creative vision. Since then, she has founded her own company EDG Productions Oy, which allows her to evolve as a visual artist, interior architect and musician. Previously hosting a series of solo art exhibitions across the globe, from Los Angeles to Barcelona, the artist is developing a broad perspective through her work.
Combining forces with director Seb, ‘Blooming’ captures Emmi amongst the lush landscape of the Peak District. There’s a chilling aesthetic across the visuals, embodying the track’s dream-like atmosphere.
