Hudson Mohawke and Tiga unite on new single ‘Ascending Into The Clouds’.
Out now, the new single brings together two co-conspirators in the electronic realm, a pair of producers who go back a long way. Hudson Mohawke and Tiga may have distinct, completely individual styles, but they’re often allowed their voices to intermingle.
The duo have long planned to craft a simple, hands-in-the-air banger, and decided to put those ambitions to the test. Uniting as Love Minus Zero – or LMZ for short – new single ‘Ascending Into The Clouds’ is a peak summer season workout.
From start to finish it seems to embody dance music’s inspired, uplifting aspects, presenting the pair’s work at its most open. Elisabeth Troy – a vastly experienced vocalist associated with those iconic MJ Cole bangers – steps into the studio, and the results are sprinkled with magic.
