Jorja Smith’s ‘Little Things’ Thrives On Immediacy

Jorja Smith has shared her new single ‘Little Things’.

The English vocalist is on a roll right now, recently signalling her return with the emphatic ‘Try Me’. Amplifying her energy, new single ‘Little Things’ is Jorja Smith at her most immediate, lacing her soulful approach with immediacy.

British producers P2J and New Machine unite on the new song, a summer sizzler destined to push away those grey clouds. A song about spontaneity, ‘Little Things’ finds Jorja urging her fans to make their dreams come true – lyrically, it’s about letting loose, having fun, and allowing your flirtatious side to come out.

Jorja comments…

The song is pretty self explanatory, I had a lil concoction – rum, ting and a magnum. When we started creating this song I was just imagining hearing this walking into a party and seeing someone I’d had my eye on. It’s fun!”

British director Bolade Banjo brought the video to life, and he adds:

A snog with someone you’re crushing on… The lyrics and instrumental were very much dedicated to the direction of the video, it was about finding the stylistic language that made sense. Speaking with Jorja about how she wanted to approach this it became apparent; ‘Little Things’ was within itself…”

Tune in now.
