Lockeland Strings have confirmed plans for their first ever London showcase.
The Nashville arts organisation is fully community based, supporting arts by providing a full string section. Their reputation is spreading, too – Lockeland Strings have supported the likes of Kacey Musgraves, Caroline Spence, Lucie Silvas and Fancy, amongst others.
Hitting London on December 15th, Lockeland Strings will host a special multi-artist evening at the Union Chapel. The ensemble act as the bedrock, with performances confirmed from Matilda Mann, Eloise, Hohnen Ford and Lydia Luce.
The arts organisation’s first ever UK showcase, the nine-piece string section will push these artists in different directions. Of course, the Union Chapel is always worth visiting – an incredibly special venue.
Lydia Luce comments…
“We are beyond excited to bring Lockeland Strings to Union Chapel on December 15th. The venue is a dream location for a string section and the performers are a dream lineup. It is our hope that this show will be the first of many and we are eager to expand this beautiful community to London”.
