slowthai seems to have been removed from Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds line-ups.
The rapper appeared in Oxfordshire crown court yesterday – May 16th – after being charged with two counts of rape. slowthai is scheduled to make another appearance in court next month.
In a statement, slowthai vowed to prove his innocence, while also urging fans not to comment on the case. “He writes”I categorically deny the charges,” he writes, before adding: “I am confident my name will be cleared”.

slowthai had been confirmed for a number of festivals, alongside sporadic stand-alone live performances. At time of writing, he is still scheduled to support Blur at Wembley Stadium this summer, but it seems that the Mercury nominated artist has been removed from two major festival line-ups.
slowthai does not appear on the updated Reading & Leeds poster, which presumably means he will not be performing at the dual-site festival. Elsewhere, his name has been taken out of the Glastonbury directory, an indication that Worthy Farm have shelved his slot.
Neither festival has commented publicly.
slowthai will appear in Oxfordshire crown court next month.
