Glastonbury has just unveiled the full line-up for this summer’s event.
The Worthy Farm team have just set the announcement loose, with new names on the bill including Skepta, Queens Of The Stone Age, and honorary citizens of Dundee (yep!) Royal Blood.
Elsewhere, you can catch drill figure Digga D, while 80s pop stalwart Rick Astley opens Saturday – his first appearance at Glastonbury.
A few anomalies remain, however. As Twitter account TheGlastoThingy points out, one act – The ChurnUps – is a complete mystery, and have been booked for Friday evening on the Pyramid stage.
It’s a huge spot – third from top, in fact. So, could it be an old friend of the Glastonbury crowd? Pulp have obviously reformed, and their last minute spot at the 1995 festival arguably triggered their incredible rise.
Speculation has spread like wildfire.
The Churnups
When something is churned it becomes Pulp ? #Glastonbury #Glasto

Haha “The Churnups” on the Pyramid Stage Friday night at Glastonbury. What exactly do you do for an encore, eh? pic.twitter.com/nCoNITLP0v

Interesting on the Glasto line up. “The Churnups”, third from the top on the Pyramid on Friday, are a band that does not exist. Also, the TBA secret slots have been moved from The Park to Woodsies (aka John Peel/New Bands). Expect Pulp, Blur or both? https://t.co/DLWzaLcjrr

Guess we’ll just have to wait and see, then.
Glastonbury Festival runs between June 21st – 25th.
