Squid Announce Socially Distanced Shows

Posted by

Squid will play a series of socially distanced shows in May.

The band’s debut album ‘Bright Green Field’ is incoming, with a full nationwide tour slated for July.

Set to release a special direct-to-vinyl EP for Record Store Day, they’ve also lined up some small scale shows.

The dates take place in May, and will be socially distanced – the band have also tried to steer away from the beaten track a little, promising “some beautiful and unusual settings”.

Tickets will be limited to 2x per purchase, while the ‘Fieldworks’ tour will also boast sets comprised of never before heard music.

Squid comment: “With all this time rooted in one place we’ve been hard at work writing new music together. We thought that this little tour of places, off the beaten track, would be a great opportunity to show you all some new tunes and some REALLY new tunes. We can’t wait to play some places that aren’t on the traditional touring circuit and see all your faces.”

Pre-order ‘Bright Green Field’ from Squid Store, Bleep or Bandcamp by 5pm on Monday (April 26th) to receive pre-sale access to tickets.

Tickets will be available to buy from April 28th.
