And here we are! Another lockdown! Is it ever going to end?

What cheers us up and helped us make it through 2020 are all these songs about Miss ‘Rona, and remixes that go viral. Throughout 2020, we got a bunch of pandemic-inspired releases, all funny and energizing, bringing our hope and good mood back for a short while.

We put together a list of our favorite lock-down hits:

Gmac Cash – “Coronavirus”

Gmac Cash knew what’s up when on March 15, only a few days before official lockdown he dropped the “Coronavirus” track, and since then we all know the lyrics:
“I ain’t shakin’ no hands, I don’t want a hug / Make sure you wash your hands with a lot of love / So if you got that CV, they gon’ find you / If you coughin’, I ain’t tryna be around you,” he raps.

Mike Campbell, “Lockdown”

Apparently Mike Campbell had plenty of time, and self-recorded a sick track “Lockdown,” and then directed a music video for it! The song is a playful look at life during the lockdown. “Got no fever,” Campbell sings. “Got no shakes/Got to watch my back/Whatever it takes/Got a face mask and some rubber gloves/ I’m washing my clothes in an old bathtub.”

Snow Tha Product, “Nowhere to Go (Quarantine Love)”

Yup, Snow is right.. There is nowhere to go..

Cardi B and iMarkkeyz, “Coronavirus”

Have you heard Cardi B’s rant about the coronavirus that went viral? iMarkkeyz transformed into a hit song, dope!

Dejhare, “Do What You Gotta Do”

Survive, make it though, and wear your goddamn mask! Dejhare says it! Do what you gotta do!

Todrick Hall, “Mask, Gloves, Soap, Scrubs”

Remixing his original song “Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels,” and even writing the whole album “Quarantine Queen,” Todrick Hall has created another dance gem for digital nightclubs, a.k.a. TIKTOK and Instagram Live.
