King Hannah's 'Crème Brûlée' Is Wrapped In Mystery

Liverpool two-piece King Hannah have shared their new single ‘Crème Brûlée’.

The duo caught attention with a series of vital shows, leading to a freshly inked deal with City Slang.

New single ‘Crème Brûlée’ inaugurates this relationship, and it epitomises the band’s slow-burning charm.

Reminiscent of Mazzy Star or even Galaxie 500, there are also shades of Sharon van Etten’s poised songwriting at work here.

King Hannah – Hannah Merrick and Craig Whittle – fuse feedback traces with spider-like guitar lines, amid a vocal that is urgent while retaining its mystery.

The video is online now, with the duo commenting:

“We couldn’t be more excited to share with you our first ever music video, for our debut single, Crème Brûlée!!! We shot and edited it ourselves across Liverpool and North Wales (spot the Welsh flag!) with the aim to create a homemade, documentary-style piece inspired by the indie films we love. We really hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it!”

Tune in now.
