Brooklyn, NY – Fivio Foreign and Dreamdoll made certain to give back for the holidays.
The New Yorkers teamed with Million Dollar Drive By in partnership with Children of Promise NYC to prepare and hand Thanksgiving meals to children who’ve been affected by mass incarceration and living in challenging economic neighborhoods.
The event took place at Children of Promise’s Brooklyn location on Wednesday (November 24) with a drum assembly extravaganza. Artist TJ Atoms was also on hand to serve meals to everyone in attendance as the youth were called to participate in various activities to further bond and interact with guests in attendance. On top of the meal, Fivio delivered a surprise performance as several raffle prizes and giveaways were presented to the children.
In a post to Instagram, the foundation was thankful for everyone who participated in the event to bring good energy to the children.
“Everyone feels welcome at the CPNYC table!” a spokesman for Children of Promise wrote. “@fivioforeign_8fs, @hot97, @sassyminglee and @dreamdoll made sure this was an event we will always remember—and they even showed true leadership by preparing plates of food for our Scholars to enjoy!”

The purpose of the dinner was to highlight the differences made by those currently affected by mass incarceration by those who’ve overcome the struggle and gone on to flourish in other avenues.
The holidays are a prime time for rappers to give back. T.I. held his annual Thanksgiving turkey giveaway in Atlanta while artists such as Quavo of Migos and Lil Baby teamed up with Tennessee Titans wide receiver Julio Jones for a Thanksgiving dinner giveaway and concert celebration.
