A Tribe Called Quest have always had lyrics to go but now, the legendary Hip Hop group has a COVID-19 survival kit to go as well.
On Monday (July 20), Q-Tip tweeted a photo of the We got it from Here…Thank You 4 Your service-inspired coronavirus kit, which features two masks, hand sanitizer, sanitizing wipes and a portable bottle of hand sanitizer all wrapped up in a custom cardboard box intended to look just like the cover art for the aforementioned album.
“Be safe,” Tribe’s de facto leader wrote in the caption. “Soon Come.”

Since the coronavirus pandemic kicked off in March and brought the music industry to a grinding halt, artists have grown exponentially more creative when it comes to staying connected to their fanbase and lending a helping hand.
Swizz Beatz and Timbaland established the wildly popular Verzuz battle series, which was just picked up by Apple Music, and Eminem donated his famous Mom’s Spaghetti to frontline healthcare workers in Detroit.
Q-Tip didn’t reveal any more details surrounding the kit’s arrival but as COVID-19 cases ramp up in the United States, there’s no better time than now.
