Post Malone has officially cancelled the opening leg of his highly anticipated ‘Big Ass Stadium’ tour, which was set to feature support from Jelly Roll. The American superstar was scheduled to launch the massive stadium run this month, but recent scheduling conflicts have forced a significant change in plans.

In a candid statement to his fans, Post Malone expressed his regret over the cancellation of the first six dates, citing a need for more time to finalize his upcoming studio project. Addressing the speculation surrounding the tour, he emphasized that the decision was driven by his commitment to delivering the best possible music. “We ain’t ready for the tour just yet,” he noted, explaining that his current workload and the promise of new material necessitated a shift in the timeline.

The adjustment impacts six scheduled performances, including stops in El Paso, Waco, Baton Rouge, Birmingham, Tampa, and Oxford, Mississippi. The tour is now slated to commence on June 9th in Charlotte, North Carolina, where Post Malone will continue his partnership with Jelly Roll.

Reflecting on the decision, Malone shared, “Looking at the upcoming schedule after Stagecoach, I came to the realization that what we’re trying to do, and what’s possible, isn’t really lining up. The truth is, I promised y’all beautiful people new music, and I don’t have the time to finish it before tour starts. We ain’t ready for tour just yet, so I’m making the decision to push the tour back about 3 weeks to get this music done.”
