Now based in Nashville, his debut EP ‘Complicated’ was a phenomenon on its release, with Ross leading the 2026 CCMA Awards with seven nominations. Set to play the UK this summer, Josh Ross has just shared something new.
Out now, ‘Kicked Out Of Bars’ is a rebel statement, a song about taking things a little too far. It’s done with style and panache, blending country with rock in the process. With country streams soaring across the UK, this summer could be an important visit for the Nashville-based breakout.
Reflecting on the track, Josh Ross shares: “‘Kicked Out Of Bars’ felt like me from the minute we wrote it. It’s one of those songs almost everyone can relate to, whether you’ve been the one getting kicked out or you’ve got a buddy who has. I wanted to give fans something fun and upbeat to close out the summer. We’ve been playing it live and seeing everyone already singing along has been pretty incredible. I’m excited for fans to finally have it.”
