Diddy Transferred to New Prison in Pennsylvania

Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly been moved to a new prison following recent reports of a fight with a fellow inmate and being busted for contraband. The mogul’s Diddy transferred to new prison status marks a significant shift in his incarceration, as he moves from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey to the Federal Corrections Institution in Allenwood, Pennsylvania.

The new location is a low-security facility housing approximately 1,000 inmates, a stark contrast to the 4,000-inmate population at Fort Dix. While the federal Bureau of Prisons has declined to confirm the specific reasoning behind the move, the transfer appears to prioritize security and safety. In a statement provided to XXL, Diddy’s representative, Juda S. Engelmayer, emphasized the importance of the rapper’s well-being.

“We appreciate the Bureau of Prisons taking the safety and security of Sean and everyone involved seriously. His transfer from one low-security facility to another is an important distinction, and while we cannot speak to the BOP’s specific reasons for the move, it is consistent with a decision made with safety and security in mind. We are grateful for the attention being given to his well-being and hope he can continue serving his time without unnecessary disruption.”

The transfer follows a period of intense scrutiny regarding Combs’ time at Fort Dix. Reports indicate that he lost 41 days of good time credit and 400 days of commissary privileges due to multiple infractions. Last month, he was placed in the Special Housing Unit (SHU) following an NBC News exposé that alleged he had access to contraband, including a cell phone, alcohol, and unauthorized services like massages.

While sources suggested that a recent head injury sustained by the mogul was the result of a physical altercation with another inmate, a spokesperson for the Bureau of Prisons has refuted these claims, stating that the reports of a fight are false. As of now, Diddy remains scheduled for release on March 2, 2028.
