World renowned Cuban pianist, Roberto Fonseca takes to the stage at Roma Jazz Festival for a very special performamce on Saturday 14th November.
Former member of the Buena Vista Social Club, Roberto presents his ninth album ‘Yesun’. Yesun is a play on words that symbolises water, the water taken from well of the Afro-Cuban music tradition.
Combining a multitude of styles from Jazz to Classical music, Rap, Funk, Reggaeton and electronica in his trademark style.
Joined for this performance by percussionist Raul Herrera and Yandy Martinez Rodriguez.
In the same way the water ‘Yesun’, the bearer of life can change its shape, so Fonseca’s music flows from ancient to modern whulst intertwining beat poetry and spoken word.
