Conway The Machine believes his best work is yet to come. Despite dropping well-received projects such as From King To A God and The Alchemist-produced LULU EP in 2020, the Buffalo-bred MC says his upcoming Shady Records solo debut God Don’t Make Mistakes will be even better.
“It’s about to get VERY SPOOKY!!” he wrote via Instagram. “Listen to me when I tell you, GDMM IS THE ILLEST AND MOST COMPLETE BODY OF WORK I’ve ever curated thus far!! I promise! I will be shifting the culture again real soon!!”

Conway has been teasing God Don’t Make Mistakes for two years now, but it appears fans are getting closer to hearing it. Westside Gunn finally dropped his Shady debut Who Made The Sunshine in October, so Conway is up next for Eminem’s label.
The Griselda Records crew hasn’t put out much music through their major label deal with Eminem, yet they’ve been busy dropping projects throughout the year.
Conway and Westside have each released three solo efforts with the latter announcing a fourth is on the way. Benny The Butcher also unleashed a collaboration with his Black Soprano Family and the Hit-Boy-produced album Burden Of Proof.
Although Conway’s God Don’t Make Mistakes will be his first solo album for Shady, it will be his second LP released by Eminem’s imprint. He and his fellow Griselda members teamed up for WWCD, their major label debut as a group, in 2019.
God Don’t Make Mistakes is the planned follow-up to From King To A God, which dropped in September. Conway’s third independent release of 2020 featured collaborations with Method Man, Freddie Gibbs, DeJ Loaf, Havoc and Armani Caesar, among others.
