The group are part of a tidal wave of Australian psychedelia which is set to wash up on these shores, exuding promise, joy, and exhibition.
New album ‘Changing Colours’ is out on May 14th, and ‘Ready For Tomorrow’ is one of the band’s final previews.
Sessions for the new song were kicked off in the Topanga Canyon studio of producer Kyle Mudlark, and it explodes with West Coast charm.
Somewhere between Pond and Moby Grape, ‘Ready For Tomorrow’ grapples with possibility and suggestion.
He says: “It’s about 21st-century life, finding relief from the stress of both the future and the past. It is about Persephone running into her mother Demeters comforting arms.”
