South London producer Ben Hauke has officially released his anthem ‘NOBOL’.
The producer’s wide-ranging influences allow him to shift and evolve, working in areas as disparate as breaks and jazz.
Last year’s ‘One Year Dance’ EP was a fantastic offering, perhaps his most direct, dynamic system-rooted selection yet.
New EP ‘NoBol’ is his engaging return, and it taps into club energy, absorbing aspects of house and techno while remaining rooted in his South London locality.
The title cut appeared in OK Williams’ sought-after Fabric mix, immediately taking on a life of its own in the process.
Gaining an official release, ‘NoBol’ is a dynamic system mover, fusing soulful house elements with hints of UK garage.
The visuals feature Ben (and friends) on a night out, exploring London after-dark.
He comments: “These tracks were made in the first few months of 2021, a cold and quiet time in London – looking forward to a change of pace in the upcoming summer.”
A deeply atmospheric clip, you can watch it first on Clash.
