The Chicago-born duo return rejuvenated with new single ‘It’s Too Late’, a cinematic take on love gone sour replete with horns, soul-stirring strings and Dana Hobson’s expressive vocal.
The equally histrionic visual sees Hobson dispatch of her lover and fellow bandmate Daniel Wolf in the desert, burying him and the vestiges of their relationship – but is he really gone?
Of the first single, Hobson says: “’It’s Too Late’ is a great intro to the whole album because it was sort of the first failed experience, we had seriously dating people outside of each other. Things jumped between amazing and horribly wrong and you get to witness it all! Come see the shit show that is Dana and the Wolf.”
‘It’s Too Late’ is the first offering from their upcoming album, ‘LA FADE’, expected later this year, a collection of songs inspired by their (mis)adventures in courting. Expect a cogent illumination of the sticky grey area; the horrifying, heartbreaking, at times comical aspects of modern dating.
Dana & The Wolf ask is monogamy all it’s cracked up to be?
