London disco bandits Franc Moody return with new single ‘Losing Touch’.
The band are festival favourites, with their frisky live endeavours taking them from warehouse parties to international stages.
New EP ‘House Of FM’ will land on May 19th, and it’s another step forward for the UK outfit.
New single ‘Losing Touch’ is a signal of what to expect, and it’s a pared back slice of disco fun.
All dappled colour and finely contoured production, ‘Losing Touch’ is a studio construction with a live concert feel.
“After this totally weird year, we are very excited to share the first track off a new EP, ‘House Of FM’,” write Franc Moody. “‘Losing Touch’ came together really quickly in the studio layering up the usual concoction of all things FM (plus a few more hot sauce bottles, the result of a year of lockdown).”
“The song tries to capture the euphoria you feel when you’re able to lose touch, to zone out, to really live in the moment, and escape from a sometimes mundane and repetitive reality. ‘Losing Touch’ feels a lot more linear than anything we’ve put out up to date. We wanted to try and create a hypnotic groove that you can lose yourself in. Enjoy. x”
