Broadcaster Julie Adenuga has confirmed she will be leaving Beats 1 and Apple Music.
The presenter joined Beats 1 five years ago, and immediately made her mark, becoming one of the station’s most popular presenters.
A huge figure within UK music, she brought a slew of high profile interviews to Beats 1 alongside her impeccable taste.
Such a notable voice during UK rap’s mainstream charge, Julie continually shone a light on new voices and breaking music.
After five years she’s set to depart the station, with news of her next endeavours no doubt set to come shortly.
Here’s the announce. Good luck, Julie!
It’s officially my last week on @Beats1/@AppleMusic!
After an incredible 5 years, I’ve decided it’s time to move on.
I don’t think the words that could truly express my gratitude exist, so for now I’ll just say THANK YOU Apple for changing my life ~ it’s been unreal.
