Loma will release new album ‘Don’t Shy Away’ on October 23rd.
The group began in serendipitous fashion, with Emily Cross joining Dan Duszynski and Jonathan Meiburg on tour.
Writing sessions followed, with Loma releasing a charming, absorbing debut album on Sub Pop.
A second album has seemingly been completed, following sessions at Dandysounds in Dripping Strings, Texas.
The 11 track ‘Don’t Shy Away’ lands on October 23rd, with album cut ‘Homing’ having been produced by Brian Eno.
New track ‘Ocotillo’ is a dreamy start to their new adventures, with Loma commenting:
“‘Ocotillo’ is a graceful, spindly plant that flowers extravagantly after rain – but it lives in places where it doesn’t rain for months, even years. It’s not hard to identify with it.”
Tune in now.
