Mogwai will play three special dates in the Scottish Highlands and Hebrides this Spring.
The band have already confirmed a batch of live shows for 2021, including a date at London’s Roundhouse.
Alongside this, the Scottish group have now laid out plans for a more intimate set of performances.
Mogwai will play three dates in the North of Scotland, including one Highland spot and two in the Hebrides.
The post-rock group will play the beautiful Spa Pavillion in the Highland town of Strathpeffer, before performing in the community cultural Aros Centre on the Isle of Skye, and Stornoway’s century-old Town Hall.
Of the tour, Stuart Braithwaite from the band says:
“Playing concerts in the Hebrides and in the highlands is something that we’ve always wanted to do but never had the opportunity to do. It’s going to be brilliant being able to play our music to people who perhaps don’t get the chance to go to concerts in the larger cities that often.”
“It’s also going to be really special to spend time in some of the most amazing natural surroundings anywhere in the world.”
