Pa Salieu, Griff and Rina Sawayama have been nominated for the BRIT Rising Star award.
The award replaced the traditional Critics Choice, and aims to platform new talent emerging from the UK.
Pa Salieu dominated 2020 with his electrifying debut mixtape ‘Send Them To Coventry’ and he takes his place in the final three.
Rina Sawayama recently won a battle to change the definition of Britishness – in spite of having lived in the UK for 20 years, her Japanese passport meant she was previously ineligible.
Upending the rules, Rina takes her place in the final three, alongside rising alt-pop trailblazer and firm Clash favourite Griff.
