Sin Quirin has departed from industrial metal outfit Ministry.
The move comes more than 12 months on from claims made by two women concerning his behaviour.
In their statements – published last year – Sin Quirin was accused of engaging in sexual relationships with the women more than 15 years ago when they were 15 and 16 years old, respectively.
The guitarist has stepped down from Ministry, and a statement – since deleted – posted on social media over the weekend did not mention the claims hanging over him.
Quirin seemingly claims he was leaving the band to focus on his health and personal life, alongside outside projects.
Ministry are set to go out on tour later this year.
Following the allegations last year, Sin Quirin issued a statement through his attorney Randolph Ortega:
“Mr. Quirin denies ever have (sic) any sexual relationship with anyone under the age of majority,” and that the legal team were “unaware of any of potential nefarious activity by any member of Ministry during their respective tenure(s) with the band including but not limited to Mr. Sin Quirin.”
