Posted by The Avalanches have laid out plans for the 20th anniversary edition of their debut album ‘Since I Left You’.
The Australian production team famously utilised a record-breaking number of samples for the record, which broke new ground for studio techniques.
It also worked as a perfect pop document, with its immediacy belying the fastidious approach utilised by the production duo.
Turning 20 with nary a wrinkle in place, The Avalanches will release a special anniversary edition of their debut album later this year.
Out on June 4th, ‘Since I Left You’ will be reissued digitally and on 4xLP, 2xCD physical versions, featuring previously unreleased remixes from Leon Vynehall, Black Dice, Carl Craig, Sinkane, and the late MF DOOM.
