A producer who has crossed swords with Stormzy, laid down beats with Loyle Carner, and nurtured fresh talent like Pip Millet, Greentea Peng and JGrrey to name but a few, his vast experience spans genres.
Cutts is currently working on various projects with Chloe x Halle, Mahalia, JGrrey, Kojey Radical, Maverick Sabre, Naomi Scott, Tom Walker and more – always striving for something new and unique.
‘Mr Cutts’ Chop Shop’ was born from Owen’s love of sampling and his passion for music. Established early on. during lockdown it has been a regular highlight of our week watching the format develop and take on new forms.
Episodes pivot from sampling sounds on the street, chopping current pop songs to mashing up old and new material with live cuts and vocals into a reveal – one of your favourite artists in the room flipping their own take over the remix.
Sort of a human vs machine type battle where everybody wins. With The Chop Shop format now established and growing from strength to strength, Owen and his cohorts are intent on raising the bar and we at CLASH are here for it.
We are working together with Owen on a new raft of episodes and experiences, aiming to bring The Chop Shop into new unique environments. With live event and livestream format capture and planning underway so keep your eyes peeled for more information.

Along the way, Mr Cutts has also held back some more personal ideas, gathering a folder of sketches that exist on their own terms.
More recently he’s decided to act. Bringing those ideas together into one place, an album has been formed, finding the producer cutting old vintage samples to produce something fresh.
New cut ‘I Wish It Would Rain’ leads the way. Pitching, distorting, and blending those vintage ideas, what results has a character entirely of its own.
Name-checking Wes Anderson as a key influence, there’s a touch of the director’s cinematic innocence to Mr Cutts’ work.
