Tyne-James Organ secluded himself away in 2020, closing the door on the chaos outside.
Holing himself up in a New South Wales studio, the Australian songwriter pieced his debut album together by looking out over the surreal tranquility of the west of Byron Bay.
Debut album ‘Necessary Evil’ is out on May 21st, a record that blends together different textures, tones, and moods.
New single ‘Sunday Suit’ drips with sunshine, its radiant glow reminiscent of those latter Go-Betweens records, blended with a yelp borrowed from Buddy Holly’s intonations.
Blessed with a wry, cutting sense of wit, Tyne-James Organ is able to unpick pain while still nailing down on the joy inherent to all our lives.
We’ve got first play of the video for ‘Sunday Suit’ and it’s a joy, one that expertly transfers Organ’s skills to the screen.
Tune in now.
‘Necessary Evil’ will be released on May 21st.
