Wiley is set to headline Afro Nation Ghana in December.
The festival launched in Lisbon earlier this year, confounding social media naysayers to deliver an excellent debut edition.
Clash writer Will Pritchard travelled to the event, writing:
“Conversations with attendees throughout the weekend elicited a uniformly positive response. There was broad recognition of the important role this black-owned event was playing in bringing together the African diaspora and putting music from the continent on a platform the world could take notice of.”
Hitting Ghana in December, Afro Nation have just announced Wiley as headliner.
The grime pioneer drops his new album early 2020, but he’ll be on site to deliver a fantastic set for Afro Nation ticket holders.
The Accra festival has also confirmed two other fresh names, with Sneakbo and Shay Seyi joining the party.
Tickets are on sale now.
Afro Nation Ghana runs between December 27th – 30th.
