The rap community was rocked after T.I. and Tiny were accused of alleged sexual abuse by multiple women last month.
During a recent Twitch session, former Everyday Struggle co-host Akademiks addressed the controversy and admitted he was hesitant to believe the claims, especially considering Tiny’s former friend Sabrina Peterson — who was the catalyst for the cascade of allegations — had at least six restraining orders against her for stalking.
But he did confess he’s heard more than his fair share of outrageous stories coming out of Hollywood.
“I don’t even think I can believe all of this stuff, but I’ll say this,” he says in the clip. “In the land of Hollyweird, like don’t ever think this shit is just too weird for you. There’s a couple of executives that I be hearing are fucking the male rappers — and they’re male too. And I’ve been saying how come he keeps sucking these n-ggas off and nobody talks about this?”
Of course, Akademiks refused to name names, explaining, “Because I don’t want to just get randomly killed, I won’t mention them n-ggas’ names either.”

Tip and Tiny have denied the allegations. In a statement to HipHopDX, the couple’s spokesperson said, “Mr. and Mrs. Harris want to be on record and more importantly want the public to know they emphatically deny in the strongest way possible the egregiously appalling allegations being made against them by Sabrina Peterson.
“The Harrises have had difficulty with this woman for well over a decade. They are taking this matter very seriously, and if these allegations don’t end, they will take appropriate legal action.”
Despite their claims of innocence, VH1 still decided to pull the plug on their popular reality television show, T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle — at least for now.
“We are aware of the allegations, and while they are not connected to our show, we have reached out to T.I. and Tameka Harris, as well as local and state officials,” an MTV Entertainment spokesperson said in a statement. “Given the serious nature of the allegations, we have decided to suspend production in order to gather more information.”
