Rolling Loud Miami took over the Florida metropolis over the weekend, playing host to dozens of artists and an enthusiastic crowd ready to erupt after over a year of COVID-19 restrictions.
But DaBaby became the talk of the event after he not only brought out Tory Lanez following Megan Thee Stallion’s set, but also decided to make some onstage comments perceived to be homophobic. As backlash ensued on Twitter, Hustle Gang boss T.I. came to DaBaby’s defense with, “If Lil Nas X can kick his shit in peace… so should dababy [shrugging emoji] #equality.”

Slut Walk founder Amber Rose, who prides herself on being an activist, took issue with both the DaBaby and T.I. for their tone deaf comments.
On Monday (July 26), Rose took to her Instagram Stories to chide both rappers.
“What in the homophobia???” she wrote. “Y’all are so mad that @lilnasx is fucking winning! To be this homophobic feels like they are battling something internally. This is not equality this is hatred. Period.”
She added in a separate post, “I’m an activist first and foremost this is why I started my slutwalk for EVERYONE to come and feel comfortable in their own skin! This perpetuates hate and violence! I stand with the LGBTQ Community. We should all feel safe at a concert no matter what our status is, who we love or who we wanna give head to.”

DaBaby was mid-performance when he made his controversial remarks.
“If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases, that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up,” he said. “Ladies, if your pussy smell like water, put your cellphone light in the air.
“Fellas, if you ain’t sucking dick in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up.”
Watch it above.
