Silk Sonic has stayed quiet when it comes to information around their forthcoming album and even fooled fans with new music during their 2021 BET Awards performance. But it seems the newly formed group is ready to bless fans with something new this Friday (July 30).
On Wednesday (July 28), Anderson .Paak took to Twitter to announce Silk Sonic will have something in store for fans on Friday. In the tweet, .Paak posted a picture that shows a red car in what appears to be an alleyway with the tagline reading, “You’ve Been Invited To Silk Sonic’s Summertime Jam This Friday.”

It’s unclear what this “Summertime Jam” is, but fans hoped and prayed in the comment section it’s the signal for a new song. While they make their fans wait, Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars are enjoying the spoils of their smash hit “Leave The Door Open.”
