With weekend two of Coachella in full swing, pgLang artist Baby Keem called in a huge favor in order to ensure his performance would make waves.
On Friday (April 21), The Melodic Blue rapper laced up his classic vans sneakers and took over the desert in Indio for his headlining set at the festival, which included an appearance from his blood relative, Kendrick Lamar.
While rocking a pair of exclusive, L.A.-themed cowboy boots, K Dot helped Baby Keem perform their high-energy “Family Ties,” collaboration and also assisted with their joint-effort lyrical epic “Vent.”

While Baby Keem is in the midst of The Melodic Blue Tour and has recently killed the stage at multiple music festivals, including BUKU 2022 in New Orleans last month, Kendrick Lamar’s appearance at Coachella marks his first performance since the blockbuster Dr. Dre-helmed Super Bowl LVI Pepsi Halftime show earlier this year.
Kung Fu Kenny has actually been on the move as of late. Following the announcement of his upcoming fifth studio album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, which releases on May 13, Kendrick Lamar popped out on April 20 to the L.A. Dodgers game and caused a frenzy mid-game once fans became aware of his attendance.
