Baby Keem and his cousin, Kendrick Lamar, have been working secretly behind the scenes with Dave Free on their mysterious collaborative project called pgLang. Over the last year, fans have gotten bits and pieces of what the company is doing, from collaborating with Calvin Klein to making an appearance alongside The Weeknd in his music video for “Blinding Lights (Remix)” featuring Rosalía.
Fans can’t help but wonder what pgLang is, especially with K Dot at the helm. The company, right now, is the only thing giving the Hip Hop community insight on anything music-related with the Compton native. Whenever something comes from the house of pgLang, it is guaranteed to have people talking.
That was made clear on Tuesday (February 23) when Keem shared a clip of a recent studio session. In the video, viewers can see someone in a hooded sweatshirt rocking to the atmospheric beat alongside a woman in a mask. You can hear Dot’s voice in the background giving out direction.

There’s no word on what exactly this studio session is for, but fans were quick to assume that a Lamar-Keem collaboration was on the way. They also believed Keem’s follow-up to 2019’s Die For My Bitch was coming in the comment section.
“Keem boutta save 2021,” said one person while another added, “Keem in the stu, we eatin.”
While fans wait for anything new from Keem and his superstar cousin, they can celebrate the TDE frontman’s recent accomplishment. According to a report from Chart Data, Dot’s 2017 LP DAMN. has now spent 200 consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200 chart.
Dot dropped the Pulitzer Prize-winning album on April 14, 2017. If it stays on the chart for another five weeks, the album will have been on the Billboard 200 for a full four years.
