The founding Griselda trio of Westside Gunn, Conway The Machine and Benny The Butcher will embark on a co-headlining tour this Spring.
The trio will headline ten shows across North America this Spring after they hit the Coachella stage in April. Starting in Chicago on May 10, Benny, Gunn and Conway will then head through Boston, New York City, Washington, Atlanta, Dallas and others before wrapping up in Los Angeles on June 3. The tour will be the trio’s first time hitting the stage altogether since 2020 when they sold-out back-to-back shows at the Novo in Los Angeles.
Tickets go on sale Friday, March 25th at 10 a.m. local time on the Griselda website.
The tour also comes as each founding member of Griselda has released a new record in the past year. Westside Gunn previously dropped off his massive double-album Hitler Wears Hermes 8 last summer, while Conway The Machine and Benny The Butcher both recently dropped off highly anticipated solo records. Conway dropped God Don’t Make Mistakes in February, and Benny released Tana Talk 4 this past Friday (March 18).
While Durk easily snagged the top spot on the Billboard 200 this week with 7220, Benny’s release still fared well on the charts according to Akademiks, debuting at No. 15 and selling 19,900 equivalent album sales. Benny reportedly also beat out Lil Durk in raw sales, moving 7,300 album copies while Durk only moved 3,000.
The upcoming tour also comes as Conway The Machine announced his Griselda exit. He recently told The Breakfast Club the original contract he signed was never in his favor so he sought to renegotiate.
“When we did that shit in the beginning, I really wasn’t all the way — man, I’ma keep it a buck, I ain’t even read that contract, bro. I just signed that shit and moved on, but unfortunately the contract wasn’t in my favor,” he said.
“So now, going forward, it’s time to redo all that, I gotta make sure if it’s in my favor or not. I’ma wave the Griselda flag regardless because I built [that], I was hands on with that, me and West[side Gunn]. So we can figure something out, which I’m sure we will. That’s the first situation I’m talking to like, ‘West, what we gonna do?’”
