Pembroke Pines, FL – It looks like Benzino will step into the ring at an upcoming celebrity boxing match — but not with 50 Cent. On Tuesday (April 26), TMZ reported the former Source publisher will step into the ring with Aaron Carter, the brother of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter. Damon Feldman of Celebrity Boxing confirmed the showdown takes place at the Charles Dodge Center in Pembroke Pines, Florida on June 11. The contracts have already been signed by both parties, making it a done deal.
Carter heard Benzino was down to fight him last week and addressed the prospect via Instagram on Sunday (April 24), saying, “There’s a rumor going around that Benzino wants to fight me. Let me explain something to you, Benzino. I would love to fight you for one reason and one reason only. [50 Cent’s album] Get Rich or Die Tryin’ is the first album I bumped in my G-Wagon when I was 15 years old. And to see you going on some petty ass shit, acting like that to… your brothers. You don’t do shit like that. So, I’m telling you right now, sign the contract.”

50 Cent and Benzino have been engaged in a contentious e-battle for the past couple of weeks after the television executive suggested Benzino had a relationship with a trans woman named Shauna Brooks. Benzino and Feldman attempted to reel 50 Cent into the fight with an Instagram video, but he never took the bait.
“Yooo @50cent U steppin’ up?! @benzino_is_legend is ready,” the caption reads. “June 11 @charlesfdodgecenter. Presented by @therealrodneyburton.”

More recently, Benzino claimed to have proof 50 Cent lied to Big Meech and the STARZ network about owning the BMF trademark. On Saturday (April 23), 50 Cent shared a post about Benzino’s daughter Coi Leray, who recently dropped her debut album Trendsetter, saying, “Now would be a good time to stop hating on @coileray. I’m gonna make her show up on your TV. STOP worrying about a first week WORK.”
Benzino responded to “RATMAN” by showing his appreciation for the post but then claimed he’d obtained a lawsuit involving the BMF name. He wrote, “I appreciate u putting my Coi on but does she know you and STARS ain’t been seeing eye to eye lately. Well I just got my hands on a federal lawsuit saying that the ‘BMF’ trademark isn’t yours & knew about it & never told Meech or STARS. Big mistake you dummy.”
He continued, “Your dumb ass made the decisions not to tell anyone because you already invested too much. I’ll be releasing the entire lawsuit real soon, but I’m gonna let u marinate for a sec before I stick a fork in you. You crossed the line with my kid but that’s ok, she’ll have to live with the decision she made to go against her father to deal with the opps. Everyone who is a real person will recognize her disloyalty and it will be her downfall. SMH, people who sell their souls always regret it.”
