Kanye West and Lil Durk are set to go head to head on February 22 when they drop their respective albums DONDA 2 and 7220. Most people will be picking sides while others will just enjoy all the new music that’s coming out, but one person, in particular, is making sure he’s not being left out of the mix.
On Tuesday (February 8), Boosie Badazz took to his Twitter account to announce he’ll be dropping a brand new album alongside Durkio and Ye. The album is the follow-up to his Summer 2021 album Goat Talk 3.
“IM DROPPING MY ALBUM THE SAME DAY AS @kanyewest n @lildurk 2/22/22 #heartfelt 2/22/22,” Boosie wrote in his tweet.

There’s not a lot of information regarding Boosie’s upcoming album besides the title being called Heartfelt. Boosie Badazz later tweeted the alleged album cover that finds the cameraman capturing a side profile of the rapper while he’s posing in the middle of some smoke.
According to Kanye West, February 22 has a special meaning which he explained in an Instagram Story last month.
“According to the stars, the United States is finally getting a spiritual makeover with its first-ever Pluto Return on Feb. 22, 2022. Astrologically, a Pluto return is when the heavenly body returns to the same position in a birth chart where it was when the chart began,” Kanye’s IG Story read.
Despite all the excitement surrounding the day, fans are still skeptical about Kanye and his history of not releasing albums on time. DONDA was late by 401 days, and it’s not the only album Kanye has been late to the party with.
