Cardi B’s defamation case against vlogger Tasha K is being pushed back in favor of The Bronx superstar. On Wednesday (November 10), AllHipHop reported Cardi will now have even more time before taking her issue to court with Tasha K.
The two were initially supposed to appear in court on November 9, but due to an unspecified family emergency, Cardi B convinced the judge to move the trial to January 5, 2022, instead. Tasha K isn’t too happy with the motion as she was prepared to proceed with the case and prove she was a reporter protected by the First Amendment.

Cardi’s beef with Tasha K stems from the “Press” rapper claiming the vlogger made a video on her popular unWinewithTashaK YouTube channel that said the rapper was a prostitute and had herpes. Cardi filed a $75,000 defamation of character/slander lawsuit against Tasha, which she countered, with a $3 million lawsuit alleging Cardi sent Blood gang members to threaten her.
A federal judge tossed the $3 million lawsuit claiming Tasha didn’t have enough evidence to prove Cardi brought her any distress. Now, Tasha will have to wait and see if she needs to cover the $75,000 in Cardi’s legal expenses and other damages.
While the case with Tasha seems to be going in Cardi’s favor, she has another issue that needs to be handled in court. The ongoing feud between Cardi and Tekashi 6ix9ine’s girlfriend Jade is heating up after the “WAP” rapper turned down a plea deal in their court case. If she loses, Cardi B will face up to four years in prison.
