Drake loves gambling with his money. He’s been putting in bets all year on Stake, an online betting platform, and it looks like he just won big again. On Thursday (May 26), Drizzy had a lot of bread hit his bank account after the Golden State Warriors clinched the West.
The Toronto native had placed $200,000 on the Dubs to win the West back in April, and he took to his Instagram Story last night to show his winnings. According to his story, the 6 God went home with a cool $1 million off his bet.

Steph Curry and his band of brothers took down Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks four games to one in the Western Conference Finals. They will be heading to the NBA Finals for the sixth time in eight years to take on the winner of the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics Eastern Conference Finals series, and Beantown leads that series three games to two.
Drake has been busy on Stake putting in bets on the Super Bowl and other NBA Playoff games. He’s become such a fan of the platform that he signed a partnership to help promote the brand, and if that’s not enough, Drake has already wagered over $1 billion on Stake since joining on December 28, 2021.
Drizzy is either playing or watching some games go down when he’s not betting on basketball. He’s also helping his friends land on professional teams. Last week, J. Cole signed with Canadian Elite Basketball League’s Scarborough Shooting Stars, and the 6 God had something to do with it.
According to an article from Complex, Drake hosted a party that Cole attended and met Nicholas “Niko” Carino, a close friend of the 6 God, co-founder of OVO and part-owner of the Shooting Stars.
“You know, Dreamville and OVO are family,” Carino said. “Drake had a birthday party in L.A. last year. The conversation was, ‘I heard you have your team.’ It organically grew from there.”
