It’s no secret that Drake loves the game of basketball, and it looks like that passion is being passed down to his four-year-old son Adonis.
On Wednesday (May 18), the 6 God posted a video on Instagram showing his son working on some basketball drills with a coach. Adonis starts the training session by attempting a midrange jumper before hitting LeBron James‘ signature mannerisms, such as slapping his chest and tugging on his jersey.
Drizzy Jr. attempts the drill again, this time hitting the shot and mimicking the same mannerisms. Fittingly, Adonis is wearing a Los Angeles Lakers LeBron James jersey while running through the drills.
“Reset, reset, reset…good stuff,” Drake says as he watches on with pride from the sidelines. “Yeah, let’s go. One, two, we out to the crib. To the crib! That’s that man, that’s that man right there!”
LeBron James himself reshared Drake’s video on his Instagram Stories, writing, “My nephew really love the game!!”

Adonis mimicking LeBron James isn’t surprising at all given the kid studies the four-time NBA champion’s moves. Last year, Drake posted footage of his son watching King James’ career highlights and he looked nothing short of amazed at what he was seeing.
Adonis’ eyes were so glued to the screen that he emphasized “Oh my God!” when LeBron made an impressive block during his second stint playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
