Da Brat didn’t reveal anything new about Eminem’s brief “entanglement” with Mariah Carey he didn’t already reveal himself. On Monday (August 3), Twitter was up in arms after the So So Def artist addressed Carey’s upcoming memoir The Meaning of Mariah Carey and what the pop icon will likely say about her tryst with Slim Shady.
“Em was never in bed with her,” she said on an episode of Dish Nation. “Let’s get this clear. When y’all read, y’all will see that he prematurely ejaculated when they had all of their clothes on because he was excited that he was with Mariah. There was no sex.”
But Em already detailed their, um, messy rendezvous in 2009 on the Carey diss track “The Warning.”
“That made me put up with her psycho ass over six months/And only spread her legs to let me hit once, yeah/What you gonna say, I’m lucky? Tell the public that I was so ugly
That you fuckin’ had to be drunk to fuck me?/Second base, what the fuck you tell Nick, Pumpkin?/The second week we were dry humpin’, that’s gotta count for somethin’
“Listen, girly, surely you don’t want me to talk/About how I nutted early ’cause I ejaculated prematurely/And bust all over your belly and you almost started hurling/And said I was gross, go get a towel, your stomach’s curling/Or maybe you do, but if I’m embarrassin’ me/I’m embarrassin’ you and don’t you dare say it isn’t true.”
The topic reared its ugly head again after reports suggested Em was “stressed out” about Carey’s forthcoming book started making the rounds. According to Us Weekly, a source close to the situation said, “Eminem’s Achilles heel has always been Mariah Carey. They had a very toxic relationship. He knows that Mariah is going to say very negative things about him. He is expecting the onslaught, and almost welcomes it.”
The insider added, “Marshall is stressed out that Mariah is going to say shit that he was bad in bed or a selfish lover because he has always been very insecure about that. She knows that.”
The couple allegedly dated for six months in 2001, something Carey has repeatedly denied over the years. Her denial was apparently the catalyst that would spawn multiple diss tracks from both parties that continue to this day. In December 2019, Em took aim at Carey and her ex-husband Nick Cannon once again on the Fat Joe song “Lord Above,” which evolved into multiple diss tracks from the former Wild ‘N Out host, including “The Invitation” and “Pray For Him.”
Cannon has since been fired from ViacomCBS for his perceived anti-Semitic comments during an interview with Public Enemy affiliate Professor Griff, so Em won’t be appearing on Wild ‘N Out anytime soon, if ever.
