Eminem has unveiled an “unreleased” video for the 2009 Relapse single “Crack A Bottle” featuring Dr. Dre and 50 Cent.
Slim Shady made the announcement via Twitter on Monday (August 1), just days before he’s expected to drop Curtain Call 2. As he wrote in the caption, “Unlocked from the Shady vault – unreleased #CrackaBottle music video! #CC2 OUT FRIDAY http://Eminem.lnk.to/CrackABottleVid.”
But as a few people pointed out in the comment section, there’s nothing new about the visual. The video was initially released in 2009 in support of Relapse, Eminem’s sixth studio album and follow-up to 2004’s Encore. It marked the first project Shady released since getting sober in 2008.
“This been on YouTube for years,” one person wrote,” while another said, “Honestly think they aren’t from any vault and he’s just making more money off his old tracks.”

Either way, Eminem’s loyal fans are anticipating the release of Curtain Call 2, which is scheduled to arrive on Friday (August 5). Shady made the announcement last month with another Twitter post and include the album’s arcade-themed cover art.
According to the press release, Curtain Call 2 includes music from all Eminem projects from Relapse forward, including side projects, guest appearances, film soundtrack songs and selections from his solo albums.
Eminem released Curtain Call: The Hits in 2005, a compilation of the diamond-selling MC’s biggest songs, including “The Way I Am,” “My Name Is,” “Guilty Conscience” and “Without Me.” In 2017, it became the longest-running rap album in Billboard 200 history.
In addition to the standard release of Curtain Call 2, a limited edition box set and autographed vinyl will be available on Eminem’s official website.
It’s also been revealed that Curtain Call 2 will feature a previously unreleased collaboration with 50 Cent called “Is This Love (’09).”
