Funk Flex is gearing up to release an album on his own label IFWT Films and Records. The Hot 97 radio host took to Instagram on Wednesday (December 9) to announce the project’s first single “Lurkin,” a collaboration with late Chicago rapper King Von who was shot and killed on November 6.
“1ST SINGLE OFF MY ALBUM! @funkflex / @kingvonfrmdao,” he revealed. “THANKS TO THE FAMILY FOR ALLOWING ME TO PUT TOGETHER A COLLEGE FUND FOR HIS CHILDREN. REST WELL MY BROTHER!”
Along with the song and video arriving on Friday (December 11), Flex also revealed the star-studded list of artists set to appear on the project. Other rappers include 50 Cent, DDG, Tory Lanez, Post Malone, DaBaby, Fivio Foreign, Pop Smoke, Lil Tjay, Machine Gun Kelly, Lil Baby, Kodak Black, Lil Durk, Juice WRLD, Lil Yachty, Polo G, NLE Choppa, G Herbo and many other big names.
“IM VERY FOCUSED!” he proclaimed. “LIST OF ARTIST ON MY ALBUM BELOW! WHO ELSE DO I NEED ON MY ALBUM?”

Funk Flex previously announced Tory Lanez as a feature on the album in October, just days before the Canadian rapper was charged with shooting Megan Thee Stallion.
“I’m not sure what this guy’s smoking … album mode and we working on joints,” he posted to his Instagram Stories. “We up late cooking something up for my album! @torylanez. I think we got something! My album kinda cranking! @torylanez.”

In November, Flex posted an Instagram video of him undergoing a liposuction procedure after already losing 40 pounds.
“For a while now @40dayreset has been amazing in helping me lose 40lbs!” he wrote. “@drwerfel thank u so much! Today I took a step I always wanted to try! @elitebodysculpture works on those hard areas… lower stomach, arm pit sides and back fat! No anesthesia, awake the entire time! I really enjoyed it!
