50 Cent’s television empire grows with each new show he launches. Several rappers such as Method Man, Joey Bada$$, Snoop Dogg, Kash Doll and more have joined 50’s side, and all appeared on either BMF or Power. However, there’s one rapper who’s looking to join in on all the fun.
Over the weekend, footage of G Herbo announcing his dreams of acting on one of 50’s shows circulated online. According to the Chicago rap star, he feels like he’s ready to hit the big screen, so 50 and Demetrius Flenory, Jr., who plays his father in BMF, need to make something happen.
“Big bro said he’d be glad when I start doing TV. Ayo 50 get at me on foe them,” G Herbo said while laughing in the video. “I’m trying to get one of those Starz specials. Put me on Starz, 50. Ay Meech put the word in with your mans boy, for sure.”

The 25 rap star may be looking for Flenory Jr. to pull some strings especially after admitting how close he is to 50 Cent. During his interview with HipHopDX recently, Lil Meech revealed 50 is a strong mentor to him.
“50 is like my big brother … my mentor, we talk almost every other day,” Lil Meech tells HipHopDX. “We talk for hours. He literally gets me all the game I need in this film business because he’s a genius. Everything he touches turns to gold. I’m just happy and blessed to even be by his side as one of his associates.”
G Herbo has some experience with acting as he had a brief appearance in Lena Waithe’s hit Showtime series The Chi in 2020. After a pretty quiet 2021, G Herbo may be looking to do big things in 2022.
Another plaque was added to G Herbo’s collection when his feature on Nardo Wick’s smash “Who Want Smoke?” helped propel the song to platinum status. The original grew legs on TikTok before G Herbo, 21 Savage and Lil Durk hopped on the official remix. That version peaked at No. 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is pushing Nardo Wick more into the spotlight.
