Atlanta, GA – Even as countless people around the world struggle to make ends meet during the raging COVID-19 pandemic, rappers continue to floss. On Monday (August 16), Young Thug turned the big 3-0 and to celebrate the milestone, his Young Stoner Life artist Gunna gifted him a hot pink Continental GT Convertible Bentley, much to Thugger’s surprise.
In a video clip posted by Akademiks, Young Thug is elated as he receives the customized vehicle and quickly hops in the driver seat to test it out. Meanwhile, Gunna looks on, grinning ear-to-ear.
And the love is mutual. Thugger paid Gunna a visit in the hospital last month while he was recovering from pneumonia and brought him several Audemars Piguet and Cartier watches.

Considering a convertible Bentley starts around $200,000, it’s safe to say Gunna is doing well for himself.
Earlier this week, he and fellow Atlanta native Ludacris unveiled their new campaign with peanut butter brand Jif, which came with a collaborative track called “Butter ATL.” Speaking to HipHopDX, Gunna made it clear he hopes this is just the beginning of his endorsement hustle but made sure to pay homage to Ludacris at the same time.
“Working with Ludacris was a great experience,” he said. “Not only is he a legendary artist, but he’s an amazing actor as well. Seeing him kill it on set, scene after scene, was really inspiring to me. And as a rapper myself, he’s someone I’ve always looked up to.
“Seeing talent like that born out of the same part of Atlanta — we even went to the same high school — just made me even more proud of the city I’m from. We got that heat! There’s so much amazing talent here and I’m glad that JIF gave us the opportunity to show that off.”
Gunna added, “I’ve been grinding for years, coming up in the Hip Hop game — dropping hit after hit, partnering with Young Stoner Life Records and working on personal projects in between. With JIF, I was given a platform to expand my image into a more commercial space and it’s only going to take me to new levels. I’m hyped to see where things go.”
