Memphis, TN – Jeezy is always looking to give back to the youth whenever he can. On his way to the Legendz of the Streetz rescheduled tour stop in Memphis, Jeezy overheard an 11-year-old cancer patient’s story and offered up his first-class seat to hear more about his situation.
The 11-year-old named Andre and his mother were flying to Memphis for exclusive treatment on his Stage 3 cancer. The trap legend then looked to make Andre’s Memphis trip that much more special by inviting Andre and his mom to the FedEx Forum concert on Sunday (February 6) and gave them the full red carpet VIP experience.
“Meet Andre, he’s 11 and one of the bravest young Kings I know,” Jeezy captioned a photo with Andre. “I met Andre on my flight to Memphis. Overheard he was battling stage 3 cancer and was on his way to Memphis for treatment. Offered him my first class seat so he can go to treatment like the boss he is.
“In taking his seat, I spoke with his amazing and strong mother. She told me about how mighty of a fighter her son has been. I invited Andre and his mother to my show. And like a boss he pulled up. Let’s show Andre some love.”
