Being the trendsetters that they are, Jim Jones and the Migos are diving head first into the Metaverse where they premiered the futuristic “We Set The Trends” video on Thursday night (June 2). The entire visual will eventually land on Capo’s YouTube page next week (June 7).

The clip is directed by EddieVisual and Yasha Gruben as an all-star team of 15 visual artists contributed to the video bouncing between a pair of worlds. Jim Jones makes a speech in front of a burning White House representing the Dipset party while designer Kid Super hosts a virtual fashion show.

“We view this project as a way for visual artists that work on music videos to get residual income from their work, this is a new blueprint for visual artists in the music industry,” Gruben explained.
The NFT music video debuted in Decentraland inside a digital movie theater in the Metaverse with attendees gifted digital wearables at the Limewire-sponsored event. 20 different NFTs will be minted and available during NFT NYC on June 21.
To celebrate the opening of the Metaverse Theatre, the Theatre will host the premiere of @jimjonescapo and @Migos NFT music video, We Set The Trends.

The official “We Set The Trends (Remix)” arrived in April with guest appearances from DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne and Juelz Santana. The track originally landed on Jim Jones’ January Gangsta Grillz: We Set The Trends mixtape.
