It’s seemingly a never-ending debate when comparing the greatest rappers of all time or in this case, the best of the 2010s. During a recent episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, Joe Budden made sure to give Future his flowers while stamping him as one of the greats who sometimes gets forgotten about in conversations.
“So, I was trying to think of the last and it shocked me to learn that we don’t talk about Future enough on that list and he’s there,” the “Pump It Up” rapper explained. “But he’s been there and we don’t discuss it. We just say Drake, [Kanye], [J. Cole], Kendrick [Lamar], [Lil Wayne] — Hov is already goated — but Future is there.”

Spotify’s RapCaviar revealed their list for the 2010s Mount Rushmore of Hip Hop which included J. Cole, Drake and Kendrick Lamar before having Nicki Minaj take the final spot with a fan vote where she beat out Future, Kanye West and Lil Wayne.

Either way, Future isn’t lacking any self-confidence when it comes to his resume. In December, Hendrix claimed he was “bigger in the streets” than JAY-Z and reposted a follower’s claim that Future could take down Hov in a potential Verzuz battle after Jay claimed nobody could see him on that stage.
“I Promise You, ErrBody From Atlanta Feels Like Pluto Can Win A Versus Against Hov!” read Big Bank’s message, which the Atlanta rapper reposted to his Instagram Stories on December 22.
