Pooh Shiesty is reportedly facing life in prison for his alleged role in a Florida armed robbery. The “Back in Blood” rapper stands accused of shooting a man in the buttocks during a October 2020 botched robbery that included a rented McLaren, drugs and high-end sneakers.
According to Rolling Stone, investigators matched the serial number on a $100 bill Pooh Shiesty flashed on his Instagram account before the robbery to the $40,912 in cash they discovered inside a Louis Vuitton bag that fell out of the driver’s seat of the McLaren.
And that’s not all. Pooh Shiesty is also accused of pulling a semi-automatic pistol from his waistband and waving it around Miami’s King of Diamonds strip club in May. He allegedly fired a shot that hit a security guard in the ankle. He’s expected to stand trial on a four-count federal indictment on October 25.
But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have support from his peers. On Thursday morning (October 7), Juicy J tweeted, “Free @pooh_shiesty. We praying for you mane.”

Pooh Shiesty, who’s already behind bars, sent his supporters a message from jail earlier this week, just as the 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards were getting underway.
“Live from the cell, mane,” he said. “Go tune into the muthafuckin’ BET Awards. We got big nominations,” referring to his nominations for Song Of The Year, Best New Hip Hop Artist, Best Collaboration and Best Featured Verse for Lil Durk’s bars on “Back In Blood.” He added, “Go tune in. Shout out to Meek Mill, mane. Real n-gga.”

Pooh Shiesty and his legal team want the case resolved as soon as possible. On Monday (October 4), they withdrew his request to delay the federal trial — despite them initially requesting more time to prove he was never part of a “drug-trafficking conspiracy.”
His attorneys explained, “[It’s] in their best interest to proceed to trial [in three weeks] even in light of the voluminous discovery.”
Pooh Shiesty was initially arrested last October in connection with the aforementioned double shooting that took place in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida following an alleged failed drug and sneaker deal.
